Whetstone Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church located in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks. Our desire is simple: to honor the Lord Jesus Christ by faithfully preaching the Word of God, reaching our community with the Gospel, and helping believers grow in their walk with Him.

We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word and the final authority for faith and practice. Through Christ-centered preaching, Christ-honoring music, and genuine Christian fellowship, we seek to provide a place where individuals and families can grow spiritually and serve the Lord together.

We believe the King James Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice, and we seek to remain faithful to Biblical convictions in an ever-changing world.

    Our beliefs are founded upon the teachings of Scripture. We believe in the inspiration and preservation of the Bible, salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, believer's baptism, the local church, world evangelism, and the imminent return of Christ.

  • Our music ministry is centered on glorifying the Lord through Christ-honoring singing. We enjoy the rich heritage of traditional hymns that exalt the Savior, teach sound doctrine, and encourage believers in their walk with God.

  • We offer Sunday School classes designed to help every age group learn and grow in God's Word. A clean, safe, and caring nursery is available during services, providing parents with peace of mind while they worship and learn.

  • Strong families are the foundation of strong churches and communities. We strive to provide a place where every member of the family can grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and serve the Lord together.
